Hi, I’m Sherry and I’m thrilled to recommend my talented, intuitive and impactful coach, Faisal. I had been in several group coaching experiences with Faisal and saw and felt how powerful his coaching skills are. I was having trouble transitioning from being a successful Non-Profit Executive to launching my own business. Decades of personal and professional development contributed to my past success, but my talents/skills were not translating well to me as a solopreneur I knew I had a solid business plan with valuable and desired outcomes for my clients and all the right metrics to measure my and their success, but something key was missing and I sensed that it was something about me. So I sought out Faisal to coach me 1:1. The biggest difference in my past coaching experiences and working with Faisal is his skillful ability to work on multiple layers. He is a master in helping you figure out and design your tactical plan that you can successfully implement. And he is so adept at working at a deeper emotional and spiritual level to uncover what causes your resistances and stumbling blocks to acting on your tactical plan to accomplish your goals/dreams and life. In my ongoing engagement with a client – I could clearly see that my intentions were not producing the impact that I sought. And I couldn’t understand why I was so misunderstood. I also realized that this frustration was something I often felt in my personal relationships and that I needed some help. People have said to me, Sherry you are so intense or someone would ask in a conversation, why are you getting so frustrated or angry? And I’d be shocked and say I’m not angry. Because for me – being angry means you’re yelling and cursing and possibly throwing some things. Because that’s what I experienced in my very fractured and violent childhood. Through his deeper work, Faisal helped me realize that I don’t really feel my emotions until they are at about an 8 on a scale of 1-10. And the average person recognizes emotions in others at a 2 or 3 – so there is a huge disconnect and misalignment between intention and impact. So he gave me this brilliant exercise to do. I had to set 5-6 alarms on my phone at random times. When the alarm went off – I was to stop whatever I was doing and check-in in with my feelings – paying close attention to what they were and where they fell on the 1-10 scale. Then journal what I discovered for a few minutes and review those writings once a week for clarity and trends. After a few days of this, my husband says what the heck are you doing? And I told him it’s an exercise to better connect with myself so I can better connect with you and others. I want to love, honor and value you all the days that we have together. He was like, Ok! It’s a little weird though, But hey baby get weird if it works! And it does work! Through the clearing of this issue – I’m better able to clear other issues on my own and my interactions with myself and others are thriving. This is only one instance of the great impact that working with Faisal has had on my growth. I know without a shadow of a doubt that 2021 will be the best year of my life personal and professional life.
