I had to set 5-6 alarms on my phone at random times. When the alarm went off – I was to stop whatever I was doing and check-in in with my feelings – paying close attention to what they were and where they fell on the 1-10 scale. Then journal what I discovered for a few minutes and review those writings once a week for clarity and trends. After a few days of this, my husband says what the heck are you doing? And I told him it’s an exercise to better connect with myself so I can better connect with you and others. I want to love, honor and value you all the days that we have together. He was like, Ok! It’s a little weird though, But hey baby get weird if it works! And it does work! Through the clearing of this issue – I’m better able to clear other issues on my own and my interactions with myself and others are thriving.
